I've seen 30 spanish fans waiting quietly and patiently for Gaga, then Gaga arrives and starts taking pictures and signing autographs. 10 Brazilian fans start pushing and shouting, then Gaga leaves. A friend of mine had to end up crying and without an autograph or pic because they could NOT behave. And it was not the first time i've seen things like these, they're way too extra I’m sorry you had bad experiences, but this is such a narrow view of things. Your personal experiences are just a small excerpt of reality and can’t be used to assume that an entire fanbase behaves the same way. 1

I want to laugh Ahhhhh i mean i can try to find an examples online to approximate. You especially notice a big difference with older women but even among younger women Brazilians on average put more emphasis on the looks and dress Portuguese young, middle aged and old: Brazilian: Obviously Im sterotyping and it still varies from person to person... not all Portuguese dress plain and not all Brazilians do themselves up a lot... But on average there is a significant tendency for it as the culture is just quite different. Despite Portuguese roots, Brazil got a lot of cultural mix over the decades and created their own very unique culture. @Rahrahbitchson Edited October 18 by Economy

mightyriverz 1,677
in response to some here, yes, brazilian folks can get actually very inappropriate and invasive, as if they own the rights to do whatever it takes to reach an artist, and those who do it will do it most likely for themselves to be seen and noticed, not for actual love for the artist. but of course, it doesn't apply for us all. as a brazilian myself, I tend to get very shy and try not to be an issue to an artist I really enjoy, which has led me to some good experiences meeting some national artists who were so kind and sweet. of course some were stuck up and disgusting as if i was an insect (i'm calling you the f out Bruna Marquezine), but most tend to be very comprehensive. This year I got to meet Marcelo Jeneci after a mini concert he did in a mall, and he was very adorable, autographed my CD, took pics. I also got to engage with his team who were very kind as well, and I guess that is what people should look after, just interacting with folks with no distinction. I myself would be HONORED if I got to meet people like Tara Savelo or Sarah Tanno herself, Fernando Garibay, White Shadow, Madeon (my fave twink DJ), cause these folks are supporting all the magic we see and love. 3
