Ivy 11,578
I've been defending it all over the place and retweeting, upvoting, etc all good comments and positive reviews I might stop soon bc some of the haters are kinda scary 4
Ashley 8,564
I’m fine and Gaga will be too. I’m convinced the fans freaking out over this weren’t here during ARTPOP lol. It’s a dissapointment sure, but Gaga always comes out on top in the end.
Rat Boy 41,343
I’m shocked that it flopped. Before it came out I thought it was a guaranteed success. I’m fine though - nobody will remember it in a few weeks. "Rat Boy's a nasty, trashy, sleazy, classless"- River
Smarticle 3,178
Shocked that the reception is so bad that the movie is collapsing Harlequin being a double flop takes the cake. I need Gaga to read the next script thoroughly before agreeing to the role. Justice for Grigio Girls!!!
Ultimecia 6,025
I really liked the movie, and I couldn't care less about its commercial success. So I'm doing just fine! Also the LG7 is coming VERY soon, so it's hard to be upset! Time. It will not wait, no matter how hard you hold on... 1

Head Empty 24,225
My own life is flopping much harder than Joker 2 so it's fine Happiness will never last, darkness comes to kick your ass... ᵃˢˢ 🕺
hELXIG 41,530
I'm very disappointed after waiting so long for something quite lackluster. But on the bright side I feel okay because most people are still praising her performance. It's House Of Gucci all over again I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
Yaaaas Gaga 813
The extent of the negative reaction has definitely caught me by surprise, but at the same time i'm proud that Gaga has taken risks with her last couple of movies, rather than accepting middle of the road roles. I just hope Gaga isn't taking it too hard as you can tell she put a lot of time and effort into the making this movie and she acted her ass off. She's mostly received a lot of praise for her contribution so hopefully this is what she is focusing on. I think i'm just ready to move on to LG7 now and i'm praying that the drama of the last few weeks doesn't impact on the rollout in any way. I think she's doing the right thing by staying quiet this past week and just letting this storm flyover and hopefully over the coming days we will get the announcement we've all been waiting for.
CatelynnMarie 4,239
Honestly, I am surprisingly unbothered. The amount of hate people are overflowing with for this movie, for the most part, says a lot about their character than it does about the actual film itself. It’s quite hilarious to me, the ignorance. I’m pretty perched for some years down the line when the same people hating so forcefully on it, will change their minds about it or at least have an appreciation. I can guarantee that most of the vicious hate it’s gotten, is not genuine when it comes down to it and is happening because of what is popular. I will say though that I am shocked personally about the turnout of the film itself. Even though I knew Gaga would devour the role from day one, I have trouble with connecting with newer made films 99.9% of the time, and even with that, I had anticipated the film being a success. For Gaga fans, honestly, LG7 is finally about to start. We have so much amazing stuff to look forward to. I know the energy around the Joker project sucks, but we’ll get through this time together. A new pop era is coming y’all! It’s time to get excited for new things Also, I’d just like to remind everyone: you can’t win them all, and that is okay. As much as it sucks to experience and go through, we need those dips so we can get redirected and learn. I believe Gaga is okay. She has the support in Michael and her other close support systems. Nite 4,650
I'm disappointed about how much potential this had and I can absolutely see why Gaga picked this role now. It could have been so good. But I can't even take some of the hate train seriously. A lot of people were desperately wanting to see it fail from the moment both Gaga's name was in it and the musical aspect was mentioned. I've seen dudes on Reddit claim the movie had a bad cut because Gaga's acting was so bad Todd was forced to remove so many scenes, so the bad production is her fault What does make me sad is the fans' reaction to Harlequin. Not the GP's. Fans acting like this album is actually bad because of chart numbers and making fun of it. Numbers don't make a piece of work bad. It's fine not to like her jazz projects, but I'm so tired of fans dragging them so loudly instead of ignoring them and feeding haters so much they end up sounding like them.
The Fame Monster 3,776
I’m not too upset about Joker: Folie à Deux not doing well. I saw the movie and didn’t like it either, but even if I weren’t a Gaga fan, I’d still know it wasn’t the actors’ fault—they were brilliant. The issue was with the bad script. I hope Gaga doesn’t feel too bad about this either because that’s life. That’s life (that’s life) That’s what people say You’re ridin’ high in April Shot down in May But I know I’m gonna change their tune When I’m back on top in June Gaga was ridin’ high with DWAS, got “shot down” with JFÀD, but she’ll be back on top with LG7—hopefully released as planned. Notorious 65
Might get attacked for this but I think first and foremost Gaga is a musician, she got incredibly lucky with A Star Is Born because musicians transitioning into acting often have it way harder than she did, ASIB was a smash, she was bound to have one bad movie era. She’ll carry on through it though and come out stronger.
