100% agreed, OP.

That's what I love about Gaga.  Whenever she takes on someone else's project, she supports the original vision, but always manages to enhance that vision tenfold, simply being the VISIONARY she is and of course, her incredible talents. DWAS is a great example of this. Even ASIB, can you imagine it without her songwriting...?

Harlequin is extra special because she needed to honor the music and her character in a way the film didn't end up executing properly.

Omg i just noticed that on Spotify for some of the tracks the visualizer movie is like a cinemgraph of water running and dipping down her chin ... on the album cover. that's great... the little things

Endearing though. I think it shows that she is authentic and gives 100% to every project she’s on. 
 

But - yes, I think retrospectively, Harlequin has been a good move.

Harlequin is such a beautiful album  her voice is on point, the production is amazing and she was so happy promoting it!!
