My top 5 are

1) Lush Life - soulful, jazzy, story telling emotional powerful vocals. shows her range

2) Bang Bang - strong, powerful, and intense vibrato. also shows she can sustain notes

3) Happy Mistake - incontrast to Bang Bang, vocals are lighter and I believe this is the first time ever she shows her control over her head voice

4) Superbowl 51 - showcases her stamina, belts and control

5) Tie
You've Got A Friend - She just ate! Gaga on a piano - soul, belt, growl, emotions.
Sound of Music - technique, flexibility

for me Happy Mistake is the #1 now!

I would also put If I Ever Lose My Faith In You in the top 5, one of my favorites!

That's a great list.

One comment though (and it's not just about this list, it's something that happens with all lists like this) : Bang Bang is picked ahead of Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered. They're both great, but I would have a marginal preference for BBB over BB. In terms of a top five though, those two plus Lush Life are all from the same show so I would only pick one, and it's Lush Life.

Happy Mistake has elbowed its way in for me now, alongside the halftime show and the Superbowl national anthem. And I complete my top five with Your Song at the Elton tribute.

This is probably still the best, we had many good performances but this one really the best one. She'd give us colors but on a technique  point of view, if you could draw a line of her singing she's almost always on the same thread until basically the end where she takes a bigger breath and loses a bit of the tension. But it's absolutely amazing, she guides you in the story of the song. And i just love everything about arrangement and how she fits the song etc.

This is probably still top 5, even she's a belter now.

This one deserves a mention.  It maybe be a more mannered way of singing, but the placing of the voice really does wonders. Applause at sukkiri always slays

on the pop performances the taratata was absolutely amazing. She just singing eheh, it's repetitive but i love how she doesn't rush and is just there enjoying herself doing her routine connecting with the public

edit dear god happy mistake slays my life, that growl is everything

Great list. I would add her Sound of Music tribute as well. And Million Reasons at the Royal Variety

Love the list. I would take out Bang Bang (love it but Lush life is from the same perfomance) and You've got a friend. I love the 2015 cover girl era, but I always prefer her singing her own songs.

These two performances are amongst my favs because she is dancing but stil super powerful and really shows that popstar presence.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

I would have said the performance of "Happy mistake", but then I noticed that some adjustments were used to her voice and I don't really agree with this. I could understand if they use a bit of autotune in pop performances where she has to dance, but non in ballads. She doesn't need it at all
