It's so interesting to see her interview, because I feel like this is one of, if not the only time we got the see the real her, before the fame, and before she learnt to work on her image. I feel like this is exactly how she would have talked if you had met her randomly and started a conversation with her then.

So weird to see the Stefani look and paparazzi co existing. I'm not too familiar with the timeline but for some reasons I always think those the fame hits happened after she went blonde as her main look.

It's so interesting cause (this part of) the interview by the look of it wasn't supposed to be filmed to air.

I used to film these interviews with artists back in those days and at the end I'd always ask if I could keep filming to get some B roll. That's when the interviewer would chat with the artist and I would should close-ups of their hands, face while they listened etc. Looks like that's what this cameraperson is trying to do.

It does give such a cute insight to her early days.

She really hasn't changed much.
