Bolkins 4,073
Its not the first time she's had this strange deluge of hate in her IG comment section and it probably wont be the last. Its almost part of the gig in this day and age, I'm sure she and her team have learned to just ignore it atp. Also, it could be worse, have you seen Beyonce's comment section as of late Not the bore worms!
Levine 22,366
I would Olivia Pope it and adress the situation. I'd let her say something like even you don't like a movie, there is no need to attack and insult artists who give everything they got in projects like this. Unfortunately the hate/negative train on this movie went "viral", just like the opposite happened for Barbie. And how do you stop a viral hate train? by adressing it to gain some sympathy back from the GP. But that would be just me, it's clear they adopted the silence strategy. MOT 2,643
6 hours ago, Starmie25 said: You may notice Gaga's comment section is now disabled on her recent instagram post of "Happy Mistake". Sadly majority of the comments were getting swarmed by a ton of haters saying that she ruined the Joker and Harley franchise etc etc. I genuinely hope she's OK and not reading too deeply into the negativity. Show her some love guys. Go out, buy a ticket, buy mini popcorn, bring a mate too and enjoy the film! Its quite the spectacle. ❤️ She did a great job as Harley and deserves to be in the presence of her ART and feel proud. 👏 It's just social media. It doesn't matter AT ALL. I'll be seeing the movie this week, and I'll drag someone with me. Actually, I'll take that back, no dragging needed, the person in question wants to see the movie. 1 1

rvfzme 5,282
Gaga whether you read this or not, I'm telling you straight. Fxck their negative words and your Harlequin is good! I personally say that this album is good but it's not my type. I like The Joker and Happy Mistake the most. People will write such stupid things that it doesn't satisfy them and I'm proud that Gaga is actively working in music and film. There will not always be a peak of a good pop album or like Harlequin. Gaga is artist and she doesn't have to boast about being in the top 1 of top charts like Taylor. I love her and we will support her

Hennycomb 3,097
Knowing the audience of the first movie and how it became popular and all that discourse around it, it doesn't surprise me that out of the trio Todd, Joaquin and Gaga, the woman singer who joined for the sequel is getting the hate. Misogyny is what these "Joker is a masterpiece" people run on. And I'm so glad Todd spat in their faces. Let them be angry.
