I just want to see her get nominated across the board at all the biggest ceremonies and pick up at least as many awards as she did for HOG. A performance this good should not slip under the radar just because the movie wasn't that great. Actors have won acting awards for mediocre films. Sometimes, their acting is the only thing that gets nominated. Remember Glenn Close was heavy competition for Gaga during ASIB season? Her acting was the only thing about that film that got praised/nominated/awarded so it's still possible.

I can see a scenario in which she gets nominated, but it depends on a few things:

- Phoenix doesn't care much about the Oscar himself, but if he "campaigns" for Gaga as Leo DiCaprio did this year for Lily Gladstone, her chances may increase

- In 2021 Glenn Close managed to be nominated as Best Supporting Actress for "Hillbilly Elegy", a movie which has an overall score of 38 on Mecritic

- Joker 2 somehow manages to have a "decent" box office result

- Gaga massively campaigns

Competing this year is strong in both leading and supporting actress. She most likely wouldn't get a nomination considering her character can be removed yet it wouldn't affect the movie plot at all.

That wont happen and it shouldn't. She needs to lay low for a second and you don't want people feeling like she's taking another actresses spot with a movie that the public did not enjoy - I hope she just wants to move on.
