There was nothing wrong with her performance. Agree to disagree. I don't have an issue with her using it if it polishes her sound, and you don't believe she needs polishing to begin with. Also, you reacted to my first comment about the backhanded compliments. I didn't call anyone in particular by name--now if that bothered you, that's on you but you can't sit there and deny that there always the same 4-5 people on here that will take every granular detail and pick it apart. And it's pretty evident that these same characters will always find something to dig at her about. I'm making an observation. You don't need to like it or me for that matter. I watched a youtube video a while back, one of these vocal analysis guys, and he was running some vocals through a machine which measured how off-pitch they were. He ran some Pavarotti through the machine and it barely registered as being off pitch at all .... but it DID register. And his point was that nobody has perfect pitch, so if you start autotuning people, making them sound perfect, you risk taking some of the humanity out of them. I would prefer to hear Gaga with any imperfections left in. It would still be great. Maybe she'd be like Pavarotti and barely register at all. But in general terms, leaving Gaga out of it, I think they started using autotune late 90's. From perfectly angelic to raw and unhinged, this is a dream. Have some of you become so disbelieving that someone can be this talented? I don't know where the evidence is that this was pitch corrected in any way. She's never needed it and would probably appreciate a real, unfiltered show anyway. (or maybe she just did a good vocal warm up that day lol) I am OBSESSED with how the last 'happy mistake' ends on the main note instead of the harmony note in the studio version. Idk this comment is the only one giving delulu vibes lol. The raw vocal *is* fantastic, but the output for the televised performance has clearly been corrected/doctored (imo, to the detriment of the actual underlying vocal performance, which is clearly brilliant).
