You guys should stop being pessimistic. Harlequin is a surprise album. Most album releases, you can buy the album right away everywhere. It's well-planned out. Harlequin, you can only buy it on Gaga's website. That's a huge limitation let alone the expensive shipping fee that goes with it. This is a huge difference. On top of that, most people do not even know the existence of this album.

For those of you saying that we got our karma and 143 did better and anything like that, you just wait and see. If you look online. It's pretty clear 143 is not well received at all while most music lovers enjoy Harlequin. However, again, not many have reviewed Harlequin, because it is a surprise album. AND Katy has performed in big settings like VMA. So far we're waiting for a TV performance tonight that may be diluted by the vice president debate. 

But you are looking at short-term. I assure you Harlequin will keep in top 200 much longer than 143. Harlequin will eventually outsell 143 by a mile. There might be a performance for the whole album, likely close to thanksgiving/Christmas time. Harlequin will have its time but it's not now but you'll see.

Careless & baseless comparisons to 143. Some here expecting a jazz album to perform like an actual pop album with singles? let me reiterate that Katy has 60+ promo tactics for 143, and Gaga's 2024 projects (14 tracks) are currently out-streaming Katy Perry's whole discography 163 tracks.

I suggest for us to do some actual research before acting Harlequin is doing worse. High Spotify numbers for a jazz album with only 3 days of pre-save shouldn't be expected but it still helped Gaga reach a Top 10 peak on Spotify Artists Chart.

Such a lovely project.  Happy Mistake is truly amazing! As for the charts, it feels good when things work out better, but if you enjoy the music and the movie, that's all that matters. And if you don't, wait for the next project
