Great idea, especially that they will fund the physical expansion and maintenance of premises.

If it uncovered some stars, that would be a great thing for everyone involved.

But it's pretty cynical to imply that somehow this was motivated by money.   

The real issue is that it might lead to an increase in club bangers, disco beats or worse - music theater productions
