Economy 46,989
I havent listened to paper gansta in like 10 years but now decided to relisten (I like it more now than before) Anyway im getting very specific images and vibes when i listen to it, very much like a piano in dark and red atmospheres, old dirty city like New York alley ways at night and dark bar asthetics as well. To me it feels very much like these vibes Edited September 30 by Economy
Lord Axel 558
Paper Gangsta has always been one of my faves on The Fame and I definitely agree with that assessment I want her to make more music like it so bad ʟɪᴠɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴇ ɢᴏʟᴅ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱɪʟᴠᴇʀ ᴅʀᴇᴀᴍ ϟ†▽✰𝒿 ~ 2 7

weed 70,897
I wanted to find a picture of a mysterious silhouette in a beret at a jazzy club smoking a cigarette with dim light above them but I couldn't find that so I think this kind of fits for me if he was in Brookyln Edited September 30 by weed 8

Juanne 269
For me, the Telephone MV already ingrained the image in my mind, sunny, prison, and Gaga playing the song with cigarettes glasses. I hate it But I love the song
Flawless 2,211
I always remember of Paper Gangsta when I listen to RAYE's Escapism Similar vibe the scars on my mind are on replay.

hELXIG 41,585
Now that we know about everything she went through at Def Jam I struggle to find any imagery outside a tortured young artist losing everything, being abused, and having to start again I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

I hate it But I love the song bit unrelated but I used to wonder if Gaga purposely went in the opposite direction for music video visuals, like Bad Romance sounds so dark, so I thought it would have all been at night and horror themed but she made her brightest music video in a white room. Alejandro felt like end of summer dusk to me out by the ocean but she went for a cold industrial warehouse look, Telephone/BTW/EOG etc same sort of thing
Sneaky Oliver 21,240
It’s incredible how Paper Gangsta still stands today as an unique piece in her discography, none of her songs sound like it, it was already so different from TF tracks then which made it such a highlight. I cant believe i ignored it for over a decade . But honestly listening to it again I love it now so much I dont think I loved it this much in my early fan years. It was always just ok to me.
