now, that we have established a safe space to discuss and enjoy, formerly singer „Christine and the Queens“ published their first record (?) under a new name and it’s such a good listen. 
 

they really said „f them 84second songs, I release a 20min journey and some“

it really reminds of Robyn, whenever she dips into her electronic side especially with Röyskopp.

I’m reaaaally happy with their release. Also saw they’re going on tour and stoping by Berlin in November, might go.
The production is so solid and good and this kind of music is what I’m thinking of when someone says „pop music for clubs“. Haven’t really looked into who produced these songs, but you can tell, they actually have experience going dancing, probably playing as well. 
I had a conversation today, mourning again what Chromatica could have been if she leaned into the boysnoize of it all and didn’t soften and glossed over the entire album with Bloodpop, but I can deal with it when there’s music like this out there. The older I get the more I realize: Gaga doesn’t need to satisfy my ever musical need as one person haha 

edit regarding the production: on Apple Music it’s only Rahim credited. So even more impressive. Mixing usually is sourced out and often times not credited (eventho Gaga just gave a big shout for the person who has done the harlequin mixing. We stan)
