It’s been claimed Perry wanted to sing at least two tracks from her new album 143, which has been a critical and commercial flop since its release earlier this month, while the league was hopeful she’d solely sing her greatest hits. Shes so loved and remembered for only for that specific golden era time frame of like 2003 to 2007. No one cares about anything outside that time frame Tho I will say Baby Dont Lie was a literal bop! Also while it is a critical flop, her album debuted at 2 on Australian charts so calling it a commercial flop there is odd. Flop is relative at the end of the day. 99% of artists would kill for Katy Perrys numbers But by A-List celeb standards of an artist who did so well she is flopping. And peaks dont mean much. Debut the 1st week is relatively easy for big artists to be in top 5 or even top 3 especially when its a slow week.
