Charli XCX fans slam singer's terrible quality merch

Charli XCX fans say they're in uproar after forking out money on the singer's 'overpriced' and 'cheaply made' merchandise.

The privately-educated popstar - real name Charlotte Emma Aitchison,  from Cambridge, recently debuted a collection of 'Brat' merch, named after her sixth studio album of the same name, featuring crop tops, hats, shopper bags and towels.

While fans - also known as Charli's angels - were quick to support their fave by purchasing her new apparel, it seems many were left more than disappointed; citing unsightliness and a lack of quality as the main reasons.

'I was expecting at least some sort of terrycloth material to be able to use this to dry off at the pool or, you know, dry things that are wet. 

'This is a glorified blanket. The material is 100 per cent polyester and fuzzy. If you’ve ever ordered a cheap printed blanket from temu or Amazon, you know exactly what this “towel” feels like'. 

In the opinion of one shopper, t-shirts from the Brat collection look 'terrible' and can't be worn anywhere.

Feels like many artists and bands are using the same manufacturers for their merch cos the quality have been on a slump lately.

But LMAO, it's on them for paying $60++ for green towel or shirts with fonts on it, they could that on  different sites for cheaper. Like I get it you want to support your faves, and you can spend your money in whatever way you want, but you're a stan, not a dumbass. The need to be logical and sensible is still important. When something is not value for money, then it not worth it. Especially in this economy

I understand that it is most likely a problem with the supplier company that manufactures the merchandise, as it is something widespread in the industry. However it does align with the concept of the album  The cover itself is an enlarged and pixelated image that is deliberately in poor taste. The same could be said about the merchandise lol
