she said in GCB this is like an end and a beginning at the same time. After LG7 she has way more creative control about her projects. I could imagine that Chappell Roan could be signed to Little Monsters, too!

I would love for her to create her own record label and start a jazz career o release a few original jazz albums. Imagine a jazz album with the aesthetic of Harlequin. A slay.

Its an LLC under Interscope. LLCs are generally exclusively for taxing purposes. I would assume in this regard, the taxes paid for buying Harlequin (and likely future projects) are going to her LLC exclusively so she can claim them on her taxes. I'm assuming this is why Michael is marked as a producer.

Rather than signing a standard record deal where the label controls and owns the master recordings, Gaga is instead licensing her work to Interscope. By creating her own company, I feel Gaga is thinking about the long-term sustainability of her career. Owning her masters and having control over licensing can be hugely profitable in the future, especially as music catalogs continue to grow in value for streaming, sync licensing, and other revenue streams.

congrats to her, and huge thanks to Michael who appears to be key through supporting her to take this next step. The future looks bright for her, stack loads of content over the next year or so, maybe a tour and then well earned rest for our queen where she can spend her hard earned $$ being happy and raising her family.. 😍…. To rise again and yet another new icon

she made a full circle this time. honestly i feel joanne was another mask. with this new album. with her own publishing that she’s now licensing to interacope. with the ****ing name “lil monsters llc”. dead. she finally blew her brains out and let herself enjoy this life wholeheartedly. 

 

she sounds perfection. she’s so ****ing alive all throughout. i feel this is her first time where her music has an open soul. i’m so ****ing happy for her.
