Did anyone notice in the back cover of Harlequin at the bottom left corner it says “Lil Monsters LLC under Interscope Records. Queen Mother Gaga now has her own publishing label. Business woman.

She was previously under Streamline Records (Vincent Herbert's imprint at Interscope), I'm wondering if he's not operating that anymore so she formed her own imprint. She's still under Interscope, but it probably does get her a bit more freedom (not that I think Streamline was on her ass all that much honestly)

I remember her saying something along the lines that the business part wasn't what she liked in her job but it may be necessary for her to gain more artistic freedom.

genuine question if anyone happens to know… would making her own label imprint render this album as a project outside of her current interscope contract? kinda like a mixtape that wouldn’t count towards the “expected” number of albums she’s signed on for atm?

You know, speaking of…I read somewhere on here that she had two albums left in her contract with Interscope. If true, 6.5 + 7 will conclude her deal. I can see her go independent for LG8 and so on!
