And to be totally objective your reaction is valid, I think after 2 jazz projects and almost more Jazz shows than pop shows in the last 5ish years, especially in the Chromatica era when she didn't do any performances for the album outside the VMAs, but having no problem doing jazz in Vegas, its okay to be a bit done with her covering jazz songs. Like call me a bad fan or whatever, but I will die on my hill with the opinion that it's a waste of her talents, when she could be writing her own original jazz/pop/rock/country/r&b/whatever genre songs. On the other hand I respect her choices, yea its her artistry, yea she loves jazz and is insanely good at it and I will buy/stream her music when it comes out, but I won't say I adore it just cause I love Gaga. It doesn't matter who does it, I just don't like covers :P Yaaas someone gets it. I bahped so hard to Lights camera action kyliegend always giving what the gays want. Thank you! I don't mind pop ballads like hold my hand and die with a smile, its a cute feeding to gp but it would be so more interesting if she went the sophie/charlie route and experiment more. that's all I want, more experimentation. Chromatica was nice but the songs were too short and I could feel her heart was not in it like ARTPOP for instance. I respect her choices but I'm not gonna lie, I've been less of a fan in the last 10 years because of her choices, its ok. And for those saying I lack taste in music, miss hon, I'm all about alternative, psicodelic, ambient, electronic music. Gaga is not even my top 3 anymore, she would if she just kept exploring tfm/btw style. we all know she changed roots because it was safer for her. I respect that and I'm not gonna pretend otherwise. Judas is coming. Let the cultural baptism begin. 2

Your opinions are totally valid, but remember she is literally releasing LG7 lead in a matter of days and the full album in only a few months... And it's already been confirmed that it's Pop. In the meantime, just enjoy the best of the album if you can. Tbh a lot of tracks really grown on you. HM is a total banger - when you listen on a speaker with good bass, it is literally mind blowing. Or if you don't like the album at all, just enjoy her old stuff or other artists music until LG7 comes 😁 1

I agree so much with this - I think it has even more potential than HM. I think if someone invented a Tik Tok trend with the music in the background and doing like The Joker lipstick smile in the mirror, and other people started doing the trend, it would deffo go viral 😁 Maybe Gaga could start it? tlittlemonster 464
"That's Life" from the album has started being added to Jazz playlisting on Spotify. I don't know how to add images here but one of the playlists it's been added to is "Jazz Club". BloodyM 1,180
Has Happy Mistake just become my favorite Gaga song? Possibly. I keep listening to it on loop and I just can't stop! I love the production, I wish Joanne sounded more like this tbh....... 1 1
MOT 2,652
The more I listen to Happy Mistake ... is this the best thing she's ever recorded ? I find it very moving. And that's not because of the lyrics, which are fine, or the melody ... it's her voice, her delivery. It is exquisite, absolutely glorious. And that leads me on to make the point that the music I want to hear from her is whatever showcases that voice to best effect. And that's why I love this album, because it meets that criterion. She has said herself that she has done stuff on this album that Tony wouldn't have approved of. It ain't a jazz album. Gaga has one of the best voices in the history of rock n roll imo, way better than just 'very good', and this album suggests to me that ideally there would be a Gaga recording of every classic song out there, because in many cases her version would be the best, and the world deserves to have it. But still looking forward to LG7 for all that. PS. This keeps happening to me. Someone else has just done the Happy Mistake praise while I was typing. Too slow, TOO SLOW.
