What a fantastic song!!! 
The album cover made me think it was going to be bland. But now that I heard the first song.. and given that Purple Irises is on the album… I feel like this is going to be wonderful pop music with rock and country influences. I am in LOVE with this lead single. I am now actually glad that she went this route. I have always loved her ballads even more than her pop songs. This song is an instant classic just like Cool, Early Winter and 4 in the Morning.

I used to be a huge stan as a kid. I had Gwen posters in my room at 8 years old. I am thrilled. Praying for a tour.

Why are people disappointed? I mean obviously No Doubt and Early Gwen were legendary, but at least this is a new direction! Let’s be real, her latest bubblegum pop songs were quite mid. TIWTTFL was good, but it sounds very dated today, whereas LAMB and TSE don’t. I’m excited for this direction and pray for a tour.

I really like the catchy country vibe of the intro but the rest of the song to me is still meh. Will see if it grows on me
