Camera is alright if you plan to take some pictures or to record a glimpse if a moment for personal use aka keepsake.

To each their own.

Just make sure you can have fun still in a concert than busy with your gadget.

I went to 3 shows, 2 seated, 1 monster pit. For the seated shows, one show my sister took photos, second I took them. At the third show I wanted to enjoy myself so I didn't bother

I had my iphone in the monster pit. I didn't take too many pictures (maybe around 50-60, most of them horrible), but honestly I kinda regret focusing on trying to get good pictures at all. I should have just been taking in what was happening around me instead of worrying if I was getting pics that were in focus. Don't get me wrong, I still had an amazing time...however the pictures I have to show for it are really 'meh'.

I would say unless you are a major photography buff and just can't live without doing it, snap a couple of pictures but then just try and focus on enjoying what's happening in the moment. I'm going to the ball again in Detroit, and although I want to take pictures with my friends before the show, I won't be bothering with it while Gaga's on stage.

I will be taking a few photos but not too many. I want to enjoy myself not watch the concert through the lens and focus on taking good pictures.

I'm really into photography so I'm definitely bringing no less than 2 cameras + smartphone. :creepflop: However, the last time I was at a concert, I spent more time shooting videos and photos than I did actually watching. I want to get the full experience of seeing Gaga live, but at the same time, the photos and videos will make for lasting memories.

I'll have it with me, whether or not I use it depends where I end up. In the seats in DC so I'll film a few songs complete there, MSG depending where I stand and if I have a fairly clear shot to the stage (I'll likely do Just Dance & EOG at one of the shows given she is high up on the castle). Not interested in getting photo's or videos featuring lots of hands and other cameras. As for camera-phones, it baffles me why people even bother with them if not right up the front - the photos / videos on them always seem to be a blurred mess.

I was undecided; I know BTWB is cancelled now =9 but I took it and I made great videos with my camera so Im happy I did; but I didn't get to dance too much or sing(I tried not to but I could not help myself) but its a trade that was worth it for me

If you have a crap camera then no if just pictures get picture from others and video do it!!! if you want =)
