I hope people still show up a the theaters because the budget was massive and you don't want to be associated with a Comercial flop. Her trajectory at the Box Office is great so far. It is a very bleak other worlds franchise and not part of the main DC story lines, just like the new Batman with Pattinson. While marvel is praised for its big box office movies that are prolific, DC usually shines in the dark moody movies. If anyone has seen the first joker it is a slow brooding watch. So I’m sure them saying her face is very one note is true because that’s how the first movie was, until the end and it went crazy. But Phoenix won best actor for his performance, and it seems like her performance is a stand out. So I have high hopes. But I have a gut feeling that people in the film industry will like it. It might still be an awards contender. Box office might also still be successful.
