Flippy 12,252
It's finally Sailor Moon Cosmos time! The final installment of the Sailor Moon reboot is finally upon us! I'm so excited, being a moonie and all! The movie came out over a year ago in Japan, but it hasn't been available anywhere outside of the US until today! Sure there were "other ways" to watch the movies, but I'm excited to get an official release and finally get to watch this We did it kids! Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos is OUT worldwide on Netflix now! TMBT 3.22.11 // TBTWB 1.17.13 // ArtRAVE 6.3.14 // C2CT 5.28.15 // TJWT 8.13.17 // Chromatica World Tour 9.8.22 2 3 4
OliviaRodrigoStan 5,403
I watched it through alternative means aeons ago . It's an ok film, obviously it suffers from all the manga shortcomings, but I loved seeing certain characters be fleshed out, and animated for the first time. It's only enjoyable for hardcore fans, but that's basically me, so I enjoyed it HEART OF EVER-FROST
Jay23 352
Anyone who says this animation style is acceptable needs their eyes checked. It’s a disgrace to the original show

RAMROD 107,461
I just finished watching it. It is so much more emotional than the 90s anime Like you can feel Usagi's heartbreak and all I cried with and for her tbh And rooting for her a lot! Usagi isn't loke annoying crybaby that was portrayed on 90s anime Solid finale Edited August 22, 2024 by RAMROD
Flippy 12,252
It’s kinda bittersweet now that it’s officially over I finally watched both of the movies and I definitely cried! The levels of maturity that Usagi showed… wow! It’s so fresh to see and the last scene after the credits on part 2?! Ugh! Amazing! WHAT WILL I DO WITH MY LIFE NOW THAT THE REBOOT IS OVER?! TMBT 3.22.11 // TBTWB 1.17.13 // ArtRAVE 6.3.14 // C2CT 5.28.15 // TJWT 8.13.17 // Chromatica World Tour 9.8.22

Well, technically the franchise does have an official sequel. I guess it could be adapted into a movie, if Naoko wanted? . She wrote this special chapter for the manga, where Usagi's youngest daughter, Kousagi, becomes a guardian for the first time: (that is fan art, Kousagi official colors as a senshi are unknown, as Naoko never colored that chapter, we only know she has pink hair) ^ The story is very short, and comedic, but she could make a new series out of it, if she wanted it. I doubt she will, but just saying: technically, there is still more story to adapt, after the "Stars" arc. HEART OF EVER-FROST

Parallel Sailor Moon… it’d technically be in a different timeline if you will, since even in Cosmos they confirmed that Chibi Chibi can’t be Usagi’s daughter since she can only have one child? (Chibiusa) It would be great for a new story with Chibiusa and the asteroid Senshi though!
