Yeah but I think it’s a really crappy look from Taylor to not comment on this election when she released a whole documentary in 2019 about wanting to coming out as a democrat and was politically involved in the 2020 election. So I think she’s in an interesting place where she is kind of stuck with the expectation to speak out in the election and other political stuff. I think Gaga is also stuck in the same place. 

On the other hand, I also definitely think there is a safety element here where it may just not be safe for Taylor to speak about politics at the level she is at and the climate we are in. I mean there was a foiled terroristic attack against her concert and domestic terrorism/female hate crimes in the UK at the Swiftie Dance Class.

I would think that's the time she needs to be the loudest tbh but I wouldn't hold it against her for staying quiet

Hope she sues the shxt out of this orange since he is using her likeness. If there's anyone who are so serious with taking care of their image and copyrighting, it's Taylor.

As someone who works in PR and publicity... when a public figure endorses a candidate, it typically backfires because their audience isn't strictly red or blue.

Generally, the fan base that agrees with them will praise them for being bold, but a musician's politics tends to take away from the pleasure of their music... as we have seen.

However, unless people live under a rock, they already know where Taylor stands. If they don't, that's on them. Just like with Gaga, we all know where she stands politically, even if she doesn't publicly say it.
