I don't think Sabrina can block us. She may do well on the first week for her album but her singles have been on BB for a while.

she’s releasing a new single ‘taste’ with her new album this friday and might debut #1 depending if they’re gonna push the song like it did for please please please and espresso.. we have to play the long game with DWAS.

iTunes barely counts for anything, and it fell due to a 69 cent discounted bar song.

This. It didn’t fall, it got outspent. The interest in this song is still massive and gaining

Guys why are we still considering iTunes in 2024

No one buys songs digitally anymore, its literally useless data

We are tied with Jimin who is also #1 in 5 countries. The ones with 3-4 countries #1s are songs like Birds of a Feather, New Woman, even a BTS song

I understand what youre saying. In the long run, its really irrelevant but for the first week where people buy the song its not totally useless. Stupid Love shot up to Top 5 because it had help from digital sales, so did Rain On Me for #1.

I think it's mentioned mostly as a gauge of eventual chart placement cuz digital sales are weighted more than streams on the Hot 100. Still mostly irrelevant, but can be an indication of "oh this might bump it up a few spots on the chart."

No? The song literally has 14K sales in the first 4 days, that's literally 4 days worth of streaming numbers.
