Beautiful harmonies but pretty meh overall. I think I literally just do not like Gaga as an artist anymore and that lowkey makes me sad but I'm still here for all the non-music things

Hoping LG7 has some surprises for me though but I'm not holding my breath. This is over 4 minutes long and seems to have at least mostly analog production (and I'd love that if it wasn't a cheesy love ballad). I'll cling to those as signs that LG7 will be better than the album of untz untz beats, samples, and snippets she released in 2020

After a good few listens and watching the music video, I think I like it better. I think it’ll definitely do well but I’m just a bit disappointed that the man who gave us Uptown Funk and the woman who gave us an epic I Want Your Love cover had the chance to make an upbeat disco-funk banger and we got a mid tempo “weeknd-lite” ballad. I’ll still support it but I probably won’t keep replaying it.

Not to be incredibly negative, but while I love the song I cant make it through the damn video. I’ve tried four times to watch it and just have to turn it off. She looks so ****ing horrible it’s almost comical. There is no camp there for me AT ALL. Just **** hair and makeup shades that in no way work with the outfit. Bruno looks crazy good so there is no reason that she couldn’t have also looked good in the same outfit. This is me begging for the 183728 time to fire Freddy please.

The mix is... weird. It sounds "far away", like there's a smoke filter on it, especially vocally. This happens with a lot of Gaga's more rock adjacent songs, idgi (TIHTY, Your Song, ASIB, HMH, SSOH). It has to be an intentional aesthetic choice but I hate it.
