Crazy in Love is MASSIVE, single ladies MASSIVE, drunk in love MASSIVE, self titled was a culture shock, so was lemonade. Renaissance tour was everywhere. Then add in the accolades? I think the fact that she plays ball with stars half her age and wins out says a lot. Shes been in the game for 22 years (?) as a solo act and has really only had 1 notable period of less success and that was 4 which still did big numbers (v much her ARTPOP era without the extreme mess). It’d be incorrect to have her anywhere but near the way top she just has defined so much of the 21st century pop landscape. i think she’ll probably still get #2 to Taylor swift but tbh the facts are there in ways they aren’t for other artists (whom i also like a lot!) It's unfortunate Taylor Swift will outrank Beyoncé based exclusively on numbers. When it comes to cultural impact, sure, Taylor Swift is more popular now, but in the long run, I think we all know exactly which of the two will have the stronger legacy... I think Bey will be #1 She’s more acclaimed, a gifted vocalist and a black woman which makes her success even more impressive
