I wonder how MTV VMA awards voting work or who votes if its the same as Grammys where songwriters, producers, artists, industry employees vote or is it online voting or does MTV have a committee.

Regardless, I know the Vanguard award is for music videos and Katy certainly has high budget, colorful, music videos since 2010-2024. So congratulations to Katy Perry! 👏
