StrawberryBlond 14,933
Cruise and Wagon Wheel are the only ones I've not heard of. Even if I don't know the words to all these songs or like them, I have heard of them. I thought most of GGD kept up with what was charting. There's more to music than just pop and dance. Country, hip hop and reggaeton have massive fanbases that are quietly streaming and buying and this is where it shows. Sure, the may be niche hits for their relative genre's fans but hits nonetheless. To act like they're not hits just because you've never heard of them is like when the boomers say that none of these current artists are successful because they've never heard of them. No surprise there, you have to seek out music to know it exists.
