Politics just depress me. I’m so hopeless. Like even when you have a left-leaning landslide win like this, you see far-right gaining so much ground.

And what to say about USA? I’m a bit too hopeless. Here in Brazil, communication of this center-left government is a mess, far-right is dominating the narrative on social and big media. 

So yeah, let me try some Torchwood I only watched Doctor Who till now, if it gets depressing I’ll watch Sarah Jane Adventures drunk so I don’t remember Elizabeth Sladden died.

The country is unanimously sick of 14 years of a revolving door of conservative prime ministers, they only won last time because the majority wanted Brexit over and done with. All public services have been rinsed dry and we have the cost of living crisis. It's more of a big vote against the conservatives

A lot of the seats were won to labour because the right wing vote was split between the Tories and Reform UK, worryingly, even though reform only have 4 seats, they came second in a lot of places, they could by the next election becomes the main competition to labour. Reform are much more heavily right wing than the Tories, a lot of their MPs have been found to be racist or homophobic on social media. So even though I'm so glad labour won I'm worried about how the right wing will evolve over the next 4 years if labour don't please the old bigots and racists of the country.

Well finally some good news, lets just hope that the new government actually uses it's victory for real change instead of just rhetoric that never materializes into anything
