The fact that BOTH (!) parties always nominate someone, who they KNOW will vote in their favor, is not democratic at all. If there is a democrat in office (yes, in this election it would be Biden), at least he will be able to nominate replacement(s) if a conservative justice were to retire/pass away. Or be able to replace a liberal justice with a new one, if need be. If it helps, don't vote for one man specifically. Vote for who you want nominating supreme court justices (Joe Biden). SpadesToStart 3,810 Posted July 1, 2024 Share Posted July 1, 2024 The silver lining: as they lower court now has to sift through and determine what is and is not an official act, all the evidence the prosecutors have on Trump is going to be laid bare and examined…which is a good thing. The American people are going to effectively see a lot of the trial evidence even though the trial may not occur before the election. That is going to hurt Trump a lot.
