geez people really are outraged by seeing a performer drip snot like normal human beings sometimes... which can happen at the worst time when you don't have a tissue or hankie. it's not a pretty look, but it seems quite toxic to keep debating that it's like the worst thing she's done (go get her for her FOMO vinyls or jets ffs)

Taylor! Mad respect for her. Not a cute look, but definitely relatable and honorable. She's probably still figuring out how to best deal with this issue if it was her first night going through it. She's trying her best to not have to cancel any shows no matter what. I know how much it hurt Gaga to have to cancel the Chromatica show that one time. Their hearts and entire beings go into the shows.

The funny thing to me was that Jay Z and Beyonce were lumped together, and that Kim Kardashian about topped the list. And neither of those two points were mentioned. We're just cherry picking men to deflect and try to selectively further our points about sexism. How many of the men own two private jets? Or the women? Because Taylor Swift owns two, and flies them both. The argument might be made that Taylor can't fly commercial because she's too much of a target, but what is stopping her family and entourage from flying commercial? What's stopping them from just driving the 200 miles they're flying?  I feel like that'd be a lot more private than flying a private jet with public records and flight logs. But I guess it's acceptable that she wants those records private after being scrutinized for her amount of flights, right? 

 

Also we're at 29 versions of TTPD now, right? I'm not sure an artist has ever taken pre-orders for an album with 4 variants all with their own exclusive track. Then dropped a double album 4 hours later. Then released 20 variants over the span of 2 months. Then released a variant with 2 acoustic songs. And then released another variant with 2 different acoustic songs a week later. But an artist dropping red, blue, green, and yellow vinyls w the same content are as perverse as that? Maybe we should get a grip on reality. Maybe we should accept the fact that somebody putting their music back on Spotify on the same day as another female artist's album release date isn't a feminist thing to do. Or dropping aforementioned variants on a different female artist's album release date isn't a feminist thing to do. And that maybe, just maybe, the artist we're questioning here doesn't care about women at all and she's just a greedy narcissist. Where has Taylor spoken about Spotify's royalties for women and artists since she got a new deal? Where has she spoken about record deals in general? Where is Taylor lifting up women? Other than her statement about the overturning of Roe v Wade, where has she spoken on women's right to choose? Or anything to do with her home state's politics regarding gender discrimination? Is all of this because Taylor's life is going swimmingly in all those areas and she sees no personal gain in fighting those fights, or am I missing something?
