Once more, she didn't ADMIT anything. She USED a misunderstanding to her advantage.

She was the one who fueled the fire (a rumor)

after someone else lit it for her (started it).

The only people who said anything about a NSFW lyric were one or two radio stations.

That didn't become a thing until she realized

-Gaga never wrote a “f*ck her face” lyric.

-The lyric was always “p-p-p-poker face”

-After the song became popular, KissFM grabbed headlines by suggesting that one of the lyrics was actually a hidden obscenity (p-p-p-f*ck her face”)

-KissFM was being opportunistic

-Gaga was then opportunistic/capitalistic too, flat-out lying that she wrote an alleged “f*ck her face” lyric, hoping to make the song seem even more salacious

-It was not an admission, it was a lie. Full stop. Haha

-A lot of people believed the lie (some little monsters thought/think EVERYTHING Gaga does is intentional/genius) and the rest is legend

She is good at marketing, but THIS was a dumb lie and (again) I think it cheapens the song

She has sang it this way in concert for years, even back in the day. She has always said these are the lyrics. She has always sang it this way live well before people “discovered” them. It’s weird to me that you won’t accept facts to “change your mind” when the facts are those are the lyrics. Just because you weren’t aware of it doesn’t mean the facts must revolve around your own perception.

I didn’t misunderstand, I’m saying she wrote it that way it has always been that way. She’s not lying about it. It just bothers me when people just choose to invent their own “facts” to believe when the people like the writer of the song is telling you the truth. It bugs me when people would rather accuse someone of lying rather than just accept they might be wrong. But as you say this is not the biggest deal believe what you want.
