LordByron28 996
I mostly enjoy it. Her vocals are able to shine better as I felt those vocals were present during some songs such as Edge of Glory but were drown out due to the production. However, I wouldn’t mind her utilizing the voice and stylization she was using in sexxx dreams. Something a bit softer and higher vocals. Even ARTPOP, her non-screaming vocals in Bloody Mary or Heavy Metal Lover. I think her finding a balance would be the best thing. She doesn’t and shouldn’t feel like she has to prove her vocal abilities after everything she has put out in her career.

After that she said he taught her how to sing and not cry, to put it in the music while you sing. And I do think you can hear that difference around that time. Her singing itself becomes even more emotive and forceful No not that he sat there and taught her about singing, but that she said something along the lines of 'I learned from watching Bradley to sing with emotion/from the heart, and even if it's not perfect it will translate to the audience' But yeah definitely changed after Tony! She said something about he taught her where to place her larynx or something Edited June 15, 2024 by Helxig I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Schwerk 7,202
She oversings and belts a lot. If you hear her songs in a mall for example, or unintentionally the background of youtube vlog, I notice it can sound harsh and a bit annoying because it's so full on on the same level the whole time. With a repetitive chorus like HMH it gets even more noticeable. Her hit songs of late (Shallow, ATUTW ROM) tend to have these softer vocals. I was so happy when during Artrave she would do so cover songs and would use the softer tones of her voice. And this is coming from a rock lover that loves to hear our girl roar and belt. The Artrave concert in Paris however is almost ruined to me because of her excessive screaming. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
MACATL 1,315
Fame Monster was Gaga vocals at their very best. I personally love her voice in So Happy I Could Die and Speechless. She was in BTW single too, though.
