Oh please, lol. This is the same thing haters have said about Gaga using gay people for her career (which isn't true) and it's the same thing you're saying now. Taylor was already very big way before she spoke out in support of gays.

I knew that comparison was going to be brought up and this is what I'm saying - Taylor's natural appearance is not her fault. She didn't ask to have features that are commonly favoured by racists. We shouldn't say she's somehow at fault for attracting those kind of men with the features she was born with. And my point is also that many men find those features attractive but not from a racist standpoint. The comment I was replying to seemingly implying that Taylor's natural looks and how she dresses invited Trump's comments which I don't think is right.

I wasn't criticising her! I would never criticise someone based on how they naturally look. She absolutely doesn't deserve harassment based on her looks. The point I was making is that Trump is scarily similar to Hitler and how gross is is that so many straight men are attracted to the same thing (particularly conservative republican men). It makes me wonder if todays beauty standards are somehow affected by some trickle down effect of what Hitler started

I don't really think straightness or politics has anything to do with it. People are attracted to what they, like, there's often no rhyme or reason to it. Natural blondeness in particular is rare, so there's an attraction based on that alone. I honestly think we overthink why we find certain things attractive. It's an instinctive urge for many of us and we shouldn't question it or think is rooted in anything sinister. It's all about facial features and how they sit on your face most of the time, everything else is window dressing.

I understanddd all of that and I do agree. But at the same time you can't deny there is a degree of social influence, especially amongst racist people. I just meant that for specifically racist people Taylor is their poster girl of all American, blonde, blue eyed, archetype. That's why freaks like Trump think she's hot. It's probably sad for her tbh   Obviously you can find Taylor attractive and be a normal person
