I don’t get why y’all are having meltdowns over this. If anything, this should be encouraging. The fact that she says she’s “almost there” practically guarantees a 2024 release date. She wouldn’t say that if it’s still a year away  I also think that her saying that is indicative of an earlier release as opposed to a later one. Like, I don’t think she’d say “almost there” and then wait until AFTER Joker to release it.

And just so y’all know, she could still announce and even release the lead single while still working on the album. It’s not like she has to 100% finish the album before releasing anything.

Wasn’t that basically the teaser at the end of TCB? I think June lead single and August album is all but guaranteed. She probably has an album’s worth of content but is still recording until Interscope is ready to start printing the CDs. She has done that with some of her other albums where the album release date was already announced but a track that she wrote and recorded a month before release ends up on the album.

If I remember correctly, on Gaga Five Foot Two we can see them mastering the album after Perfect Illusion was out. The moment where she has a panic attack and has to leave and mark Ronson stays at the studio working on it. I could be mistaken though
