So I am watching the film right now, but it sounds like everything is sped up. Anyone else has this problem?

Don’t know why but it glitches for me too, the volume goes up and kinda crashes some moments.

Apparantly it is an issue in Europe to do with refresh rates. On the Dutch HBO max the duration of the film is 1h47m. So 10 minutes shorter than the US version…

You're not the first person I've seen say this. It seems, like you said, to be a European issue.

I think the glitching during Alice is intentional

I don't know if it was that but songs like ARUTW did sound like she performed it on a faster tempo. Can someone confirm if it was like this at the date?

Yes I’m having the same problem on Max here in Croatia. Best example of sped up songs are Stupid Love, Rain On Me. Something is off.

The film is presented in 24 frames per second and HBO Europe present their content in 25 frames per second, this unfortunately results in audio being pitched up to compensate.

There is no legal workaround, it's simply how HBO present their content in Europe. Perhaps when this makes its way to Apple TV etc. one day

Both Shallow and ARUTW are played in a faster tempo
