I don't think you really know the meaning of someone threatening you. It isn't a threat; it's foresight. If it's this bad now, what makes you think things will be better under rule of the alternative?

I get what you’re saying, but there’s really not much he can do unilaterally. If the Dems had a majority in Congress that could pass protective legislation for LGBTQ+ people, that’d be one thing, but that’s not the case atm.

right.  Because a president is not a king.  Republicans have a lot of power and states have a lot of rights.

Being pathetically ignorant about how the system works and blaming the wrong people will get you NO WHERE>

Nobody who thinks like you do has power, but you sure as hell do help the other side gain power and make changes we can't change without gaining control of congress and SCOTUS.  

I'm sure you think you know how things work, and you mind isn't open enough to accept for even a second that maybe you don't understand how the system is and what it takes to change things.

Exactly! Which is why yall should care more about local govt and local communities more REGARDLESS of who is president. If we can fill seats across the board with the right people who actually want to protect us, then whoever sits in the oval office wouldnt matter. But a lot of people think a dem pres is the be all end all solution  its so annoying.

I mean, there’s truth to that, but the likelihood of electing a veto-proof majority to Congress is not incredibly high atm, so, in that case, the Pres absolutely matters.
