Let the billionaire "artist" keep her #1. It's all she has.

300k is very impressive for an artist like Billie and an album with no singles, more than Happier Than Ever did. It'd have been nice to see this debut at #1 because not only does she deserve it but it is THAT good with just 10 songs. At this point in her career after being the youngest 2 time Academy Award winner and having won Album of the Year, Song/Record a couple times, anything now is extra for her. She has the freedom to do what she wants with her career and what else than with the best company, her brother.

A little reminder that Bad Romance peaked at #2 and nobody remembers that. The impact it has had in culture speaks for itself. Born This Way didn't win any Grammys, Melodrama either, Norman Rockwell either. At the end of the day we know how special these are.

Thing is, I bet at least 220k of billies sales are from unique buyers (1 copy per person)

taylor, on the other hand, lets say TTD has sold 4m copies (idk the figures), I can assure you probably 1.5m are unique buyers, with the other 2.5m being fans with multiple copies.

That being said, taylor would do monstrous numbers even without the variants no doubt, but this inflation just seems self serving and insecure, like she has to be the biggest or else she'll crumble

Also when your album is already selling tons but you release more versions, I'll say it once again, she's financially exploiting her fans (she isn't the only one, but usually artists do this to secure a #1 debut, but this has been going on for far too long). 

Unrelated but looking back, reputation was never about her being the underdog, it seems more of a 'Feel sorry for me, everyone was bullying me! However I won't change my behaviour and when people criticise me its misogyny!'
