Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help,” featuring Morgan Wallen, launches at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. Post Malone achieves his sixth leader  – and second No. 1 debut, following “Fortnight,” with the bitter breakup song and Wallen adds his second.

Notably, the track premieres with 76.4 million official U.S. streams. It surpasses Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” – featuring Post Malone – which drew 76.2 million only three weeks earlier.

“I Had Some Help,” on Mercury/Republic/Big Loud, enters the Hot 100 with 76.4 million official streams, 31.1 million radio airplay audience impressions and 69,000 sold in the U.S. in the week ending May 16, following its wide release May 10. First sent to radio May 9, it drew 15.9 in airplay audience that day.

I haven't heard it yet, and I'm unaware of who Morgan Wallen is, but on an unrelated note:

People will be running to credit Taylor for I Had Some Help surpassing Fortnight.

I honestly think it's time we just let an artist's material stand on its own two feet and celebrate its success independently from the success of previous features.

Post Malone is hardly a small name in the industry. His own fans will be the majority of streamers, not Swifties.

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Honestly i think an artista doesnt Simply do collabs like these on a whim. He must have been searching for the success. I'm not awarewhat Morgan Wallace did or whatnot that everyone Is talking in every thread. But this kind of selling out without any integrity of the artists music Is so sad. Already some years ago his last radio smash was almost pure pop. Or he's a complete record label slave or a Total sellout and no different from the likes or swits and Sheeran.
