They still make a whole secret about the exact amount tho. On the otherhand Basel is very open with how the contest could look like. I hope that strategy will work! Thats what I’ve been saying It makes 0 sense to me. Like I was so sure the shortlist would be Zürich and Basel. Not even does their venue not meet requirements but it’s also so far away for most swiss people. Literally nobody in Switzerland wants it to be in Geneva Wouldn’t surprise me if the shady EBU would bend the requirements just for it to be Geneva cause they have their headquarters there I love the concept Basel has for Eurovision tho (the eurovision street, the public viewing in the stadium, etc.) and I have a feeling they are also having a bigger budget, what probably is the reason they keep it a secret.
