Could've fooled me.
I'm sorry but I saw pretty much the same discussions last year. Religious/PC people that got upset and offended by Bambie Thug. It was said that they shouldn't have been allowed in the contest because people should not have to see "satanic acts".

Who are these people to put a limit on creators work and decide what should be seen and what should not be seen?
If you see something you get offended by/don't approve of, simply turn the TV off, go to the bathroom, refill your popcorn bowl or whatever. No one is forcing you to watch.

I had no problem with Bambi. It was dark subject matter and all but I don't see how that kinda song would negatively impact someone. I don't see how a victim's cathartic story of SA can be compared to a pervy song using milkshake euphemisms and act like they're on the same level of impropriety. I know which one I'd feel more comfortable with listening to in front of others for sure. I just think more should be done to stop songs objectifying women be so normalised. It's a shame we're still in a place where anyone who voices concern about this stuff is labelled a killjoy. I thought GGD was against problematic lyrics in Blurred Lines like "I know you want it" but apparently, it's fine to sing "I can tell you want a taste of the milkshake man" as long as it's a fun, campy song.

Girl Ive been singing "Mayonesa, ella me bate como haciendo mayonesa" "Quiero montarme en tu velero, ponerme yo el sombrero" and other nasty lyrics since I was a kid and nothing has happened, enough with the "dont sexualise songs" :brat:

What if kids start singing them around adults? I know I'd be shocked and appalled if my kid did that and would worry for their safety. And why is it always the case that we, the listeners, are accused of sexualising songs? The artist clearly intended them to be that way!

Girl we sang those in the car while our parents were driving 'cause they were the ones playing it. I didnt said you sexualised it, I said we should stop complaining about songs that reference sex, its part of our lives :ohwell:

The EBU warning RTVE. Oh, I'm so DONE with them warning and disqualifying everyone but KAN and Israel. They've been doing way worse things inside the contest in the last few years, let alone in the world. I'm so sick and tired. They, the EBU, are really ruining the contest for me.

RTVE opened the news today speaking about that and literally playing the clip presenting Israel citing the genocide they are commiting. Proud, get that EBU

Yeah that's what everyone is saying on Twitter xD the other option is to remain silent instead of presenting them

Did Armenia also send a complaint regarding what KAN commentators said about them or that is somehow allowed? :triggered:

If you think the EBU can't go any lower...

They prove you can.

I am truly speechless about this censorship

Moroccan Oil is paying a whole damn lot for this to happen...

Isn't this their last year of their contract?

Yeah i expected more pressure on the EBU coming from broadcasters from Ireland, NL, Spain and Greece... But well... They keep ignoring any petition and pretend the issue is solved
