throughout the many delays, people on here have speculated that at this point they were waiting to time the chromatica ball film with LG7. 

 

does today’s announcement give you renewed hope that new music could be coming this summer?

I dont want to be that person but it just gives me the fact that TCB film is coming and nothing else. If editing a tour movie took her 4 years, obviously making an album and releasing it will take more time, maybe in 2025.

I don’t think it really changed much for me personally. I could see new music before or after Joker FAD, but I don’t see this being released as an indicator either way. I’d love new music sooner than later for sure so I do have my fingers crossed for an announcement soon.

I think it would be a shock if she released LG7 this year, but I don't think it's impossible. It's a shock that TCB film was announced, so you never know.

Because 2-3 rando "insiders" have claimed May 17 - June 19, with emphasis on June 7. One even posting on Reddit the actual date of May 25 for TCB and on Max.

There's true rumblings out there...so if they were right about TCBF, what else were they right about???

This finally being released (along with the fortnight release) seems more like tying up loose ends for her and her team more than anything else. I WOULD LOVE for this to be an introductory moment for LG7 and have bits and pieces of bts footage shown within the documentary. With her obviously pushing her direction, editing, etc for the film she definitely wants it to be in recognition for Emmy’s. I think it would be the most iconic thing ever if she released a music film, album, and blockbuster movie with soundtrack in the same year while also receiving nominations & awards during the next round of award presentations. 
 

I don’t have enough faith in her team for all that to happen or be pulled off well but I am more than willing to eat my words if they can manage it!!!

I'll be honest here - if you needed hope, then you should probably get a new hobby or listen to other music 

Not trying to be mean here but she is a grown ass woman with her own life to live much like the rest of us. If her taking time to make things causes you to feel anything negative then that sounds like a you problem and not a Gaga problem.

And before you say "well other artists work faster/harder/whatever" I'll just nip that in the bud and say sure, and if speed or quantity is important to you then go stan Taylor lol. I personally love how much Gaga rejects the insane expectations of turnaround that social media has caused, and how she refuses to work on a hamster wheel at this point in her career.

I'm excited to finally see The Chromatica Ball film. And tbh it didn't feel like that long of a wait because I was busy doing other things besides refreshing her instagram and dragging her on GGD and ATRL
