Falling Forever is cute, but I wish the essence of Radical Optimism would be more "1970s-era psychedelia"

I was very exited for Radical Optimism but so far I only liked Falling Forever and the singles… the rest isn’t really doing it for me.

Just listened to the whole album and the only standouts for me are "End Of An Era" and "These Walls"... the rest of the songs aren't bad but there's nothing that compares to the highs of FN or that I'll go out of my way to go back to. So disappointing. 🥲

Also it reminds me of how Joanne was supposed to be c*ntry but didn't really go there all the way... these songs have some "psychedelic" elements to them but they didn't really commit to that sound in that most songs are still pretty standard pop songs.
