I heard of this rumor few months ago.  I believe they are already have the new member in place, been rehearsing with them for a bit, they just need to announce it when time is right. 
 

The reception within the fanbase are mixed though. Of course there are those people who angry and being misogynistic at it already. So this part will be the tough crowds to please for the new vocalist. Best of luck.

She would actually be so good! And I don't believe she's got anything else going on these days   Her stuff as Porcelain And The Tramps was SO GOOD and a big part of the soundtrack of my high school years, but her Porcelain Black stuff just was not the same

It will one day! We're just at the *very* beginning of AI and things are about to get really wild in the next few years. I'm talking 10-20 years away lol

I'm sure it could be achieved now with a few seconds delay. You can use AI to change your vocals on TikTok already within a few seconds. And that's just a silly app we are playing on, not some tech developed by big companies with lots of money to motivate them

I don’t think anyone can truly replace him. Amy Lee from Evanescence at least makes a similar kind of music but from what I remember from the early 2000s they didn’t like each other. Chelsea Wolf might work too
