Linkin Park considering reunion tour with new female singer

Three members of Linkin Park are mulling a possible 2025 reunion tour and are considering hiring a female vocalist to succeed late lead singer Chester Bennington, several sources close to the band tell Billboard.

Booking agency WME is taking offers for a potential Linkin Park tour along with headlining festival dates featuring Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson and Dave Farrell, the sources say. The band has not indicated who will sing on behalf of Bennington

One source says the band is hoping to find a female vocalist to front the reunited band, matching rumors that have been making the rounds in recent weeks.

This is cool and all but I really don't think you can replace a vocalist, let alone one with such a unique voice   but that's just my opinion

I wonder who they would get... Taylor Momsen would do a good job. What's she up to these days?

I guess at best you can replace them with a representation but obviously trying to find a vocal match wouldn't really work. I like Adam Lambert with Queen, he's not trying to sound like Freddie.

This just gave me the horrible realisation that in future they will just have AI vocal changing microphones  that work in real-time.. and they will have an impersonator sing the songs and have their voice replaced by the original singer

To be honest that'll probably be the closest we'll get to Gaga performing in our respective countries again

I feel like the only way they can respectfully move forward is renaming/reforming the band into something new but similar a la Joy Division and New Order. Chester was such a massive part of their sound.

I think that’s why they’re going for a female singer tbh. Completely different voice to make it clear they’re not looking to replace him
