Nycboy 952
I’m ok with this. I mean, most of us are surprised he’s actually straight. He’s not falsely claiming to be gay. And who knows, maybe he has dabbled 😜

Wolf Boy 3,131
I call them “honorary gays”, 2 of my straight friends are honorary gays, i have dubbed them this and only gay people can choose an honorary gay. Darren Criss can’t do that himself, so he needs to stop, those are the rules!!!
PartySick 144,829
I think it's sweet. Imagine if all straight men were as open to being less than masc/macho/caveman

I think, if we understand queer as “existing outside of the context of cis heteronormativity or that which is perceived as outside of cis heteronormativity” there’s at least the possibility of straight cis people having “queer” identities. It’s a hotly debated topic (and actually has been for some time), but I think it’s at the very least interesting to consider. Maddy Morphosis is another interesting example: a cishet male drag queen, whom to the eyes of the straight world, in spite of his gender identity and sexual orientation, is perceived as queer. I’m ultimately somewhat agnostic to the question, but I just don’t think claiming a proximity to queerness is the same thing as claiming a racial identity (re: Rachel Dolezal). doppelganger 3,854
Being queer doesn't equate to being gay, so I do get what he's saying. Could have worded it better, though ...
Natalia Kills 363
This seems fine to me. He clearly has spent a lot of time in LGBT culture and many assume he was gay when it wasn’t as acceptable. Besides, queer is such a watered down term that I feel really just means different from the norm. I’ve actually met quite a few people in my city who say they’re cis and heterosexual but hang around in queer communities. It’s odd at first but I can see why and think it’s fair to be shared around, it’s hypocritical to gatekeep it. Ladle Ghoulash 16,210
His WikiFeet is enough of a contribution for me to consider him an honorary member of the LGBTQ+ community tbh. Keep serving, king 🫡
