I love how they’ve weaved in the musical numbers, it feels so in keeping with Joker’s imaginings in the first movie. Gaga was fantastic in the trailer, it seems like she’s going to be excellent in this. I really can’t wait to see it. The two moments that really sealed her performance in the trailer for me were her face after she mimes shooting herself in the head, and then her expression when she’s walking up the stairs with the crowd behind her. ModernEcstasy 8,270 Posted April 10 Share Posted April 10 This is gonna be a difficult sell to me. Don’t get me wrong, the movie looks incredible. I loved the first one. But for me, Gaga is just Lady Gaga. I don’t get Harley vibes from her at all. That’s not to say it’s gonna be bad. I just love Harley as a character and this doesn’t feel like her (yes I’m aware this is a different take on Harley Quinn). All I get is John Wayne video vibes.
