Of Cowboy Carter’s first-week unit sum of 407,000, SEA units comprise 232,000 (equaling 300.41 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs), traditional album sales comprise 168,000 and TEA units comprise 7,000. With 300.41 million on-demand official streams, Cowboy Carter earns Beyoncé her biggest streaming week ever and the 4th-largest for a country album.

Cowboy Carter marks Beyoncé’s 8th No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. She previously led the list with Renaissance (in 2022), Lemonade (2016), her self-titled album (2013), 4 (2011), I Am… Sasha Fierce (2008), B’Day (2006) and Dangerously In Love (2003).

Cowboy Carter’s sales were supported by the album’s availability across a number of configuration.
It was issued as standard 19-track edition on vinyl (across 4 variants, each pressed on different color vinyl [black, red, white and blue] with alternate back cover artwork), a CD with an additional song (“Flamenco”) and a digital download and streaming edition (both in clean and explicit versions).
The CD edition was issued in 4 variants (each with different back cover art). Two of the variants were sold as stand-alone items, while two of the CDs were only available inside two deluxe boxed sets (each with a different branded T-shirt contained inside a branded box). All physical configurations of the album were sold exclusively through Beyoncé’s official webstore, while the digital download and streaming editions were widely available.

The vinyl edition of Cowboy Carter sold 62,000 copies (across its four variants combined), marking Beyoncé’s biggest week on vinyl.

now fix the physical editions

Do you think here in Europe we'll get all 27 tracks from the digital edition along with the Horse artwork? :ohno:

I'm growing quite annoyed with this trend of multiple versions, various artworks, "deluxe" editions 4-5 months after the OG release. It's like the industry ruins every aspect of music collecting.

If they stay doing business this way I bet the few people that care about buying physical will eventually give up, myself included. And their greedy as*es will end up with less money...

no, cover art with horse was shot in March so there're no physical copies with it available anywhere.
European stores have the same physical copies that are in the Beyonce's webstore with the missing tracks: fnac  hmv

All of your studio albums reaching #1 let alone debuting at #1? Not everyone has that... :reductive:

I think we're waiting until after act iii comes out for the full, final version to get released. Just speculation though.

Well, I can see Columbia dropping a box set of the three acts along with maybe extra material. Maybe the tour film? Hopefully, we get eventually all tracks on CD. I saw that some of the tracks on the Beyincé edition are actually longer so at least that - a future rarity.

Very impressive figures. Good for her.

I am amazed at her growing power since self-titled, because it seems like she doesn't even cultivate it. It's giving real superstar, a la we don't have movie stars anymore.

CC deserves. Beyonce deserves.

OT: looking at the album covers, act 3 will definitely show a horse kinda standing up..featuring RockAndRollBey? RockBey? Regardless...future albums of hers will surely be #1 guaranteed.
