Complete fearlessness and she understands humanity at a different level than most.  A little of a shared trait with Dolly Parton.

Her death stare:bradley:

No but the charisma. She has a fire and energy that really passes well be it on huge stage or cover or movie.
Thats her whole selling point, she’s a born persuader, could be a preacher, a snail cream seller, a pharma marketing campaign manager:oops:

So she has this power to captivate you. That confidence and energy, fire of whom who’s burning they’re soul as diesel.

There is something so bold and intimidating about Gaga i cant describe but no other artists gives tht kind of vibe. :worship2:

This and her being fearless as others are saying. You describe exactly my thought.

i might get a wp for this but i think her being a huge f slur (in a good way) is what sets her apart for me

sadly the media can forget she's bi and will mistake her queerness for just being cooky :alsemanche:

In the beginning of her career she mostly stood out because her definition of beauty. She never went for picture perfect looks and it was always about „interesting“ not „beautiful. There were even a loot looks that were considered „ugly“ or „funny“ but she was never afraid…

u would never see a Mariah, Jlo, Xtina, Adele or beyonce in that way

Honestly, because she s different. She was weird/disturbing. She stood for the freaks, unpopular and bullied teenagers. She was not afraid of not being liked by the gp (just like Madonna). Which is the opposite of what we see now with Taylor or Bey who are looking for universal acclaim.

Her uniqueness. She doesn't feel like a product that labels/agents/artists create to consume. She has something to say and said it no matter what would happen. Yes nowadays she doesn't has her edge like she used to but she still wants to say something, it's just she is doing it in a mature approach. I'm sad some fans dislike her for this, just because she doesn't express herself with edgy outfits/performance daily.

Besides all the right things you all said, I want to add that she is who she is now thanks to her own talent and personality and that's it. Media never licked her ass.

It's easy to put out a record and let the media hyping it while licking your ass by making it seems it's the greatest music ever created; try to put out music while media are against you and you have to count on your charisma and talent and personality ONLY.

I don't know how many "second coming of jesus" hyped artists would still be here if they had to do everything with the media and public against.

Her strong unwavering allyship to the LGBTQIA+ community - right from the very start of her career.

her breakout it hasn’t been the same since britney, we haven’t had an artist literally start a phenomenon in a hot minute

people have made splashes here and there

but this girl had record labels scrambling to make their prized swans just as edgy and weird

her breakthrough wasn’t crazy because it was successful it was beyond success she changed culture

It's sad to say this, but Gaga has experienced a lot of darkness in her life, meaning it's also why she excels musically in that field compared to others who go for style over substance.

I think her song "Replay" describes it best.

"You're the worst thing and the best thing has happened to me"

Her bravery. that's why she could set trends, because she was not afraid to do something different.

she was not afraid to sing out loud in her entrance hall, she was not afraid to create the weirdest popstar possible... She was not afraid to champion for the lgbt community.
