Noah X 5,249
Unpopular opinion, but Cowboy Carter made me so much more appreciative of Joanne... I was listening through CB like... It's kind of a snooze fest...Listening back to Joanne, it's such a bop...So many good funks and also ballads. AYO is the original YA YA tbh. I was excited for Beyonce and I love her, and we support women in music etc, but my main point is I think we've been giving Joanne too much sh*t, when truly she was ahead of her time We truly took her for granted. Lucas 24,299
It's like comparing oranges and apples imo, they're so different. Gaga put a few country elements on a very few tracks while Beyonce went full yeehaw

HelloHangoverz 15,587
Listened to CC once. Meh, but that's only because it's a deep piece of work which will take more than one listen. It was the same with Renaissance, but I actually like dance music, house history, and all the imagery it evoked, so I did it. I just can't get down w this moonshine swigging imagery and wild west themes. It's just never been my vibe Edited March 29 by HelloHangoverz my head is filled with broken mirrors, so many I can't look away
