Gaga is the type of artist to always tweak an album until the moment she has to turn it into interscope. we’ve literally seen in 5 foot 2 where she’s in the studio with mark counting down the hours until she has to hand over joanne. she’s talked about doing the same thing with born this way. for ARTPOP, she was debating between MJH and brooklyn nights the night before she turned in the album. she created venus entirely in the final weekend.

the deadline will be more in advance this time due to vinyls, but this does sound like it’s maybe crunch time to turn it in

It’d be interesting to know when Ariana handed her latest album in for vinyl production.

During the pandemic, less people worked and a lot of pressings delayed, at the same time the demand for more vinyls got bigger and bigger… that caused massive delays and waiting lists.

now they don’t need no longer that long waiting times SND more important… labels should ahed… the album doesn’t need to be ready while the vinyl is waiting to get pressed… it needs go be ready when their pressing date is … if you understand what I mean… like labels book a release date and they have to turn in the album in time…

Give her a break and look at some other artists' discography: it's not uncommon to wait 3-5 years in between records so even if it's coming next year I'm sure it will be a great album. I still think it will come sooner though

All we can really tell from this is she is purposefully being vague to protect all info. That is it. It really doesn’t change anything. “Working” does not necessarily mean “writing” or “recording”. Think of how much work goes into planning out an album era… especially after the music has actually been completed. 

If we have to make assumptions I would say it’s safe to assume the album is still in development, so we should adjust accordingly. I am adjusting my expectations to get more hyped in the late spring / early summer.

I took it as “I won’t have time to shut myself in Shangri La by the time Joker comes out so, I’m working hard.” 
 

I think the album is already a year late and I would like to have it out NOW but it doesn’t feel like the release is imminent 

All that being said, she’s been saying that she feels very inspired since she did that spread for CBT. Whatever this record is, I hope it turns out great
